Abstract

A state is a form of human association distinguished from other social groups by its purpose. It has a primary role in the development of collective life. Islam as a religion of society has its own political system. The Prophet of Islam established the model state according to political guidelines laid down by Quran. He trained and prepare many companions for scientific, missionary, political, economic, social and administrative matters. One of the salient aspects of the training of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is personality building. With this in mind, He not only nurtured and expressed these virtues but also entrusted them with responsibilities in the field of their own virtues so that these virtues could be utilized to the fullest extent possible. This article focused on the managerial guidelines given by the prophet particularly their relevance to modern affairs of state.
